Standard Process Launches SP Red Food Supplement

The whole-food supplement features red beetroots, mountain spinach, and astaxanthin from whole microalgae.

Standard Process recently launched SP Red Food, a whole-food supplement designed to support muscle, metabolic, and cardiovascular health across all ages and activity levels. Over 80% of Americans don’t eat enough red fruits and vegetables, Standard Process reported, and SP Red Food is formulated to help to bridge this gap.

The formula features:

  • Red beetroots, rich in nitrates and minerals to support circulation and cardiovascular health;
  • Mountain spinach (Atriplex hortensis), a nutrient-dense red plant packed with minerals to support energy, muscle function, and recovery;
  • Whole microalgae-derived astaxanthin, a clinically-studied antioxidant that protects cells, skin, and eyes from oxidative stress.
