At Natural Products Expo West, Infusd Nutrition will showcase its proprietary emulsion technology to improve solubility, stability, and sensory impact of many science-backed health ingredients. Infusd nutrition makes it possible to use popular ingredients in forms that previously posed technical challenges for certain ingredients, such as beverages, gummies, and ready-to-mix powders.

The company was founded in 2017 and launched in 2023 by chemical engineer David Giffin and lawyer Jack MacDonald, with a proprietary advanced emulsion system developed over 5 years through academic research. The system enables the incorporation of insoluble actives into aqueous systems, including omega-3s, vitamin D, and botanical extracts.

Infusd’s process relies on a natural physical mechanism, rather than conventional chemical emulsifiers, weighting agents, or surfactants. The result is a clean-label, cost-efficient solution that improves solubility, stability, sensory performance, and bioavailability, expanding into new formats such as soft gels, tablets, and capsules.

At the show this year, Infusd will be co-exhibiting with Symrise AG. The two companies partnered in 2025 to combine Infusd’s nutrient delivery platform with Symrise’s world-class flavor expertise and scale. They’ll be demoing a ready-to-drink natural energy beverage featuring several botanicals and vitamins.
