The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) has appointed new members to its board of directors.

Todd Norton, vice president of business development for Aker BioMarine, has been appointed chairperson for the 2026-2027 term. He brings extensive industry expertise and strategic vision to the role, GOED reported. He replaced Gonzalo Caceres, commercial director at TASA, who will serve as past-chair for the upcoming year.

Other board members are:

  • Vice Chair Jon O’Farrell, chief operating officer at Vivo Brands
  • Second Vice-Chair Michelle Stout, regulatory policy director at Amway
  • Treasurer Ruben Valentin, chief commercial officer at Solutex
  • Secretary Cari Anderson, president of Carlson Labs

At a strategic meeting late last year, GOED’s board of directors discussed strategies for the 2026-2028 time frame. A major focus will be industry traceability, and the association intends to develop an official traceability program for its members, aimed at further strengthening consumer trust and supply chain integrity.
