After 25 years of leadership in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries, Gencor has rebranded its nutraceutical division as a new company named Saanroo, marking a new era focused on science-backed wellness solutions.

The company said the rebrand reflects its commitment to delivering innovative, evidence-based ingredients for nutraceuticals, beauty and cosmeceuticals, healthcare practitioners, and the functional food and beverage industries.

While the company’s nutraceutical division transitions to Saanroo, Gencor Pacific will continue to operate as the pharmaceutical arm, maintaining its legacy of scientific rigor and quality in pharmaceutical solutions.

“Saanroo represents the next chapter in our journey — a brand built on proof, not promises,” said John Quilter, CEO of Saanroo. “Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help people live longer, healthier lives through wellness that is truly proven.”

The name Saanroo comes from the Tamil word “sanru” சான்று. Tamil Nadu is a state in India where Tamil is spoken and where company founders originate. The company altered the vowels to improve the pronunciation of “Saan” plus the suffix “roo,” which signifies lightness and memorability. This modern yet rooted meaning translates to “Proof, Testimony, Evidence.”

The brand mark is formed from a series of dot molecules that flow together to create an “S” in the shape of infinity, symbolizing movement, connection, and constant evolution. The circles within the mark are intentionally imperfect, expressing the realistic organic quality that reflects the Saanroo ethos.

The three main colors are included in the brand mark, blending the visual identity and symbolizing the company’s various aspects: blue for its pharmaceutical history, green for its leadership in nutraceuticals, and yellow for its delivery innovation and technology, which it promotes in the global market.

“We are so proud to launch our nutraceutical division as a separate company,” said Ramasamy Venkatesh, managing director of Gencor Pacific. “This move marks a strategic expansion in bridging the scientific integrity of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals to deliver safe, innovative, and efficacious ingredient solutions for our customers and partners.”
