GC Rieber VivoMega, a specialist in highly-concentrated and sustainable omega-3 solutions, has launched Algae 1045 TG, a high-potency DHA and EPA algal oil in the triglyceride form. The new variety is suitable for a wide range of applications as a cost-effective option that maintains the company’s quality standards.

The ingredient is produced using the company’s SuperLight processing technology developed exclusively for algae oils. The process uses advanced, non-invasive techniques to provide oxidation protection and oil integrity, resulting in strong quality parameters, optimal resource utilization, and minimal to no waste, according to the company.

“Consumer demand for sustainable and traceable omega-3 solutions continues to rise, and our new algae 1045 TG reflects our commitment to combining sustainability, innovation, and commercial flexibility,” said StĂĄle Søfting, sales and marketing director at GC Rieber VivoMega. “Brands today are looking for plant-based omega-3 solutions that deliver both performance and price competitiveness. With this launch, we are providing a high-concentration, certified vegan option that supports formulation efficiency while maintaining the quality and sustainability standards our customers expect.”
