Botanic Healthcare has debuted LipsoBio, a liposomal delivery platform, featuring Dietary Fiber Stabilized (DFS) technology. The company, which debuted its umbrella brand at SupplySide Global, specializes in botanical ingredients and nutraceuticals.

DFS is a proprietary technology that employs cationic dietary fibers to coat and stabilize liposomes, which is accomplished through electrostatic interactions with the negatively charged phospholipid bilayer. The approach boosts zeta potential, prevents clumping, and provides strong stability, the company reported. Further, this is achieved with a relatively low fiber concentration, maximizing the efficacy of liposomal formulations while maintaining purity.
