Nutritional drink brand Boost has launched Boost Advanced Nutritional Shake, which is designed to support the nutritional needs of adults taking GLP-1 medications for weight management, or losing weight through diet or exercise.

Each serving contains 35 grams of protein, four grams of prebiotic fiber, 25 vitamins and minerals, and 8 essential B vitamins to support energy metabolism. The shakes can be added to the diet to increase protein during weight loss, and are available in Rich Chocolate and Very Vanilla flavors at ShopRite, Meijer, Amazon, and Boost.com. Each drink only contains one gram of sugar.

“We recognize that weight management is a personal journey, and it can be overwhelming for adults to implement numerous changes into their diet and lifestyle at once,” said Krysmaru Araujo Torres, MD, head of medical affairs at Boost. “That’s why we formulated the new Boost Advanced Nutritional Shake with key nutrients in a ready-to-drink package to make it easy for adults to achieve and sustain their individual nutrition and wellness goals.”

The Boost Advanced Nutritional Shake provides the highest amount of protein per serving within the company’s lineup of products, and is specifically designed for people experiencing reduced appetite or who are on a weight management program.

The product joins Boost Pre-Meal Hunger Support Nutritional Drink, which is designed to be had 10-30 minutes prior to a meal to manage hunger and promote the body’s natural production of GLP-1 in response to a meal. Each of these beverages contains 10 grams of whey protein, 45 calories, and one gram of sugar, available in a mocha flavor.
