Standard Process launched Children’s ProSynbiotic, a whole food-based supplement featuring a blend of fiber-packed whole foods, probiotics, and prebiotics. The supplement is available exclusively through healthcare practitioners.

The formula is intended to support digestive comfort, microbiome balance, and immune function in children 3 years of age and up, and is suitable for daily use or when needs arise for gastrointestinal support.

Children’s ProSynbiotic was developed with a carefully selected blend of probiotics, prebiotics, and whole food-based fiber without added sugars, artificial flavors, or sweeteners, the company reported. The flavorless powder comes in convenient single-serve sticks, making it easy to mix into food or beverages without altering taste, an important consideration for picky eaters.

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) reports that 60% of children’s daily calories come from ultra-processed foods (UPF), contributing to widespread nutrient inadequacy. Nearly all (95%) Americans don’t meet recommended daily fiber intakes of 25 grams, which can contribute to digestive issues like constipation and poor gut health.  

The formula features:

• Probiotic strains including Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1, Bifidobacterium lactis UABIa-12, and the yeast Saccharomyces boulardii, to support microbial balance and healthy bowel movements.
• The formula features whole-food based fibers, such as Royal Ancient Oats, green banana flower, chicory root, apple pectin, and organic beets to nourish beneficial bacteria and promote digestive regularity
