Barrington Nutritionals Celebrates 35 Years of Growth and Innovation

Barrington Nutritionals is marking its 35th anniversary this year, celebrating more than three decades of growth, partnerships, and a commitment to high-quality ingredients for the dietary supplement, cosmetics, OTC pharmaceutical, and functional food and beverage industries.

The company was founded in March 1991 in a basement with just two employees and a clear vision. Barrington began as a relationship-driven business built on integrity, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service. Starting with just four supplier partnerships, the company has grown into an industry distribution leader with more than 40 ingredient partners, including ICL, GC Rieber, Gadot, and J.M. Huber Corp.

Over the past 35 years, Barrington has expanded to better serve customers across North America, with 30 team members across five offices in New York, Wisconsin, California, Utah, and Missouri.

Giving back has also been a cornerstone of Barrington’s culture. In 2025, the company started Barrington Helping Hands, a charitable initiative focused on supporting children and families in local communities where Barrington operates.
