Cyvex Nutrition and Eevia Health have partnered to launch an extra-potent, excipient-free elderberry extract called Feno-Sambucus 30 for the North American market. The collaboration relies on Eevia’s extraction technology and Cyvex’s expertise in cultivating polyphenol-rich botanicals.

Feno-Sambucus 30 stands out due to its high concentration of anthocyanins, standardized to ≥30%, and ≥50% total polyphenols, including a high level of proanthocyanidins. The higher potency enables reduced dosage volumes, new formulation opportunities, and greater cost efficiency for manufacturers.

Eevia’s extraction and purification process delivers a broader spectrum of bioactive polyphenols than conventional extracts, while also removing virtually all sugars and organic acids, all with no carriers or adulterants.

According to in vitro testing by an accredited third-party laboratory, Feno-Sambucus exhibits effects on 148 human biomarkers, relevant to immune support and overall wellness, according to the company. It is manufactured in Finland using green chemistry methods and cultivated European elderberries, and has a low carbon footprint.

“Feno-Sambucus 30 fits perfectly into our mission of delivering nature-made, science-backed ingredients,” said Matt Phillips, president of Cyvex Nutrition. “It’s not just about potency, it’s about delivering purity, sustainability, and validated bioactivity. This partnership allows us to bring those benefits to North American manufacturers developing the next generation of immune health products.”
