Todd Spear is Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Protein Research. He is a results-driven sales leader with 25 years of experience in the natural products industry. He is synonymous with business growth, new product development, product management, and sales and marketing. Before joining Protein Research, Todd spent 12 years in new product development, formulation, and marketing as part of the executive team launching and growing leading brands in the industry. Subsequently, he spent more than a decade in specialty ingredient sales at Nutrition21, where he became recognized as an industry influencer and innovator, becoming the “face” of Nutrition21. While at Nutrition21, he led the company as the VP of Sales to record revenue, launching branded specialty ingredients into the market, and was part of the executive team that successfully sold Nutrition21 to RoundTable Health Partners. Todd joined the executive team at Protein Research Contract Manufacturing in 2023. Since joining Protein Research, he has learned first-hand about manufacturing and has led structural change and steady growth, while diversifying the customer base. Todd resides in Colorado with his wife, two kids, and four rescue dogs.
